Sometimes I worry about humanity......
Like when at the City Library a mom brings her little girl into the the bathroom and says " Does your Hunchy need to go pee pee?"
Hunchy????
Why do parents nickname private parts??? And why must we even ask if specific parts need to pee?
Can't we just say " Hey Kid! Need to go?"
Then again... today I asked Penny if she needed to use the restroom and she promptly answer that she didn't want to take a nap yet.
This really, really made me laugh. I like the Penny part too.
ReplyDeleteActually, it reminds me of when Tristan just got back from his mission to Canada--we were at a friend's house and he asked her if he could use their "washroom" to change into regular clothes, since he was in a suit. She said, puzzled, that he could, but it didn't have a door, and took him to the laundry room. On the way, he saw the bathroom, and said, "Is this it? Can I use this one?"
Oh! So when he said "washroom" he meant bathroom? Got it. :)
